Arrows Up
Commercial & Community Design
Mark Salinas, Creative Director
Mark Salinas is the Owner of Arrows Up (www.arrowsup.com), a boutique
design/fabrication/installation business specializing in custom hand-crafted props,
displays, and exhibition environments. His ‘audience as ingredient’ design approach
reflects two decades of Arts & Culture know-how in the Fashion/Film/Fine Art
Industries. These interdisciplinary skills are represented in his diverse clientele: Chanel,
Saks Fifth Avenue, Eton of Sweden (Window Displays), Glenfiddich, Pabst Blue
Ribbon, Papa John’s Pizza (Marketing Props), YMCA and NYC Restaurant Week
(Outdoor Murals), Dillon’s Candy Store (Vinyl and Graphics), Museum of Art &
Design, Prospect Park Audubon Center, Children’s Aid Society (Drapery and
Banners).
When not designing for his clients, Salinas participates in artist residencies, public art commissions, and community beautification efforts.
In 2013, Salinas launched his second creative enterprise www.7trainmurals.org -a volunteer, community driven mural organization dedicated to beautifying vacant and vandalized public spaces in neighborhoods along the 7Train subway system in NYC.
